winter(wonder)land

some pix of our winter(wonder). its early this year and intense. until now I had no chance to clean up the Fleetline after back from the motorshow bc the temps didnt go over 32 F.

moving for winter sleep

I know how it sux if you havent a garage for your sweetheart :) and what a crap if you have to dispense it short b4 winter and have to find sth new. thats the sit for my buddy Sascha and his International PU
accidentally I have one parking lot  free ;) and offer him that. and he got it. today we move his hillbilly PU to its new home during the wintertime and in company with a very very beautiful lady (oh, I have to close her doors ! :)

he should watch out the ramps not the chcks next block ;)

home for HER - final post !!!

Ladies and gentlemen,

let me introduce you HER home. work is done. today i installed the plexiglas-plates (6.50x1.00m / 21x3.3ft) on top of the carport. we put the rain gutter on it on friday. it takes such a long time because it seems that monsoon is not more only an Asian thing :-( so i used the two sunny days of the weekend for the last step.

last weekend - carport powerplay

saturday 0600 am. wake up - cup of coffee - two rolls. 0630 am preparing the loader, the tools and energy outside.
0700 am team is completed.
the timber came yesterday

some of the columns and the braces are ready for roof beam

every single brace is made with a tenon and hold by a nail made of wood; real handcraft
for the roof beam i rent a lil loader for better handling

here i make a mortise for the tenon

all the work is only possible with a good team

aproxx 0900 pm the work was done :-) and i wiped out

but the result looks pretty good - i think
