new look means sometimes lot of work

"home sweet home" better to say "nothing to do? own a house"

one kind of work which you shelve away from you again and again and again is to remove wall papers.
but someday there is no excuse to hide you from it. for me that day was the 14th of november 2010.
of course there is not only a simple room, no its the staircase. and I can tell you the three most important things if you ever wanna remove wall papers. soaking - soaking - soaking !

b4 (some simple parts we already did ystrdy)

building up a platform

soaking - soaking - soaking

paper under your sox (ok I should wearing shoes :), glue on your hands and stairs full with waste

and 3.5 hrs later

next level: plaster made of cotton

STAY TUNED

  1. Hallo Brian,
    Pit

  2. Wallpaper removal....Well known task if someone grew up in East Germany and lived in one of those 100 year old houses, as many people did in the ol' days. Looks very familiar to me!
Hey man, have fun (good beer, good music... ;-) )
